In the film and photo industries it can for example be used in a combination with a grip head, where by replacing the two clamping discs with the two jaws, the grip head would be able to clamp onto odd shaped pieces and tubes up to 50mm.

In the visual merchandising industry it could be used in combination with any 10mm rods to form shelfs, hangers, holders etc. In the staging industry it could be used in combination with a truss coupler to enable users to combine truss structures with regular building materials such as boards among more. It could also be used together with an adapter to hang lighting fixtures on a grater range of different mounting shapes.
